Managing projects with ease

GraceBlocks can be used to solve so many different types of problems. Continuing with the workshop theme, here's another example of how you could use GraceBlocks for a simple project management tool.

Consider the following narrative about a manager in a small contracting company who began to struggle with keeping track of the different projects the company was handling.

Jim was a manager at a small contracting company with about 75 employees. He was responsible for coordinating multiple projects across different teams. Because The company opted to maintain simplicity in their project management approach and had budget constraints, they avoided purchasing a sophisticated project management system and instead resorted to using Google Docs and Spreadsheets to monitor their projects.

As the number of projects and team members grew, Jim realized that using Google Docs and Spreadsheets was starting to cause real issues. It was becoming increasingly difficult to keep track of project statuses, deadlines, and team members' tasks. There was a lot of confusion, and team members were often working on the same tasks without realizing it. Something had to be done.
